Description

The University of California, Merced is a dynamic new university campus in Merced, California, which opened in September 2005 as the tenth campus of the University of California and the first American research university in the 21st century. An Assistant Specialist position is available in the research group of Professor Lin Tian in the area of quantum information. The specialist will conduct theoretical calculations related to various topics in quantum simulation, quantum information, and optomechanics. Self-motivation and strong research background in quantum optics or condensed-matter physics are expected. Candidate should possess an advanced degree with at least five years of experience in Physics or a field related to quantum information.
