The School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts seeks a lecturer(s) to teach courses in Anthropology for Academic Year 2023-24. Courses being offered may include but not limited to:
Cultural Heritage Policy and Practice
Earth from Space: Intro to Remote Sensing and Global Positioning
Topics in Anthropological Archaeology
In addition to teaching the course(s), the instructor is responsible for creating a syllabus, holding weekly office hours (2 hours/week), and grading examinations and/or papers. The instructor may also be required to hold discussion and lab sections or supervise a graduate student teaching assistant.
This is a limited-term appointment which falls under the purview of the agreement for the Lecturers Unit between University of California and the American Federation of Teachers. Full time and part time positions available. Three courses in Fall and three courses in Spring are equivalent to full time position. Part time varies based on need and availability.

Spring Semester: 1/1/2024 – 5/31/2024

Advanced degree in related field and experience teaching at the college or university level is required. Must be able to provide a record of excellence in teaching.
