The Water and Energy Technology Laboratory directed by Dr. Yanbao Ma is looking for two self-motivated, creative, enthusiastic and highly qualified postdoctoral scholars to work on phase-change heat transfer and thermal desalination.
Qualifications: Applicants must have obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or an energy-related field by the start date of the appointments. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Highly self-motivated individuals who have demonstrated the ability to conduct scientific research successfully and work independently are desirable. The successful candidates will have previous training and established track record in in experimental heat transfer, solar thermal energy, thermal desalination, absorption heat pump, boiling and condensation, and thermal energy storage. These are full-time, one-year appointments with the possibility of renewal based on availability of funding, ongoing operational needs and satisfactory performance.
