A postdoctoral scholar position is available in the research group of Professor Lin Tian in the area of quantum simulation and quantum computing. The postdoctoral scholar will conduct theoretical calculation and numerical simulation to study various questions in quantum simulation. The scholar will have the opportunity to collaborate with other scholars and students in the research group on various topics in quantum information science.

Salary is based on the University of California Academic Salary Scales. This is a two-year appointment with the possibility of extension to third year depending on funding and performance.
