The Jensen Lab is seeking one highly motivated immunologist with preferred experience in host-pathogen interactions and is interested in exploring adaptive immunity to parasites. We are looking for team players that are excited about this topic and have excellent communication skills. Experience in molecular biology and immunology is required; experience in parasitology, genetics, RNA- or ATAC-sequencing and computational skills is a plus.

The minimum qualifications required for this position is to have a Ph.D. in a related discipline to immunology and/or host-pathogen interactions by the service start date. Candidates must currently or have been in a Ph.D. program in the related disciplines of immunology and/or host-pathogen interactions. Experience in molecular biology and immunology is required.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in parasitology, genetics, RNA- or ATAC-sequencing and computational skills. Preference will also be given to those who have recently completed their Ph.D. and is within their first year of postdoctoral service.

Salary is based on the University of California Academic Salary Scales. This is a full-time, one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal based on availability of funding, ongoing operational needs and satisfactory performance.
