Description

The UC Merced Center for Educational Partnerships is to provide student, school, and parent-centered services that ultimately result in students having the greatest number of postsecondary choices from the widest array of options upon graduation.

The UCM Center for Educational Partnerships is seeking qualified, outstanding teaching professionals qualified to teach in the following subjects: English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. The following programs are anticipated for Fall 2019/Spring 2020 Academies:

UC Scholars
Talent Search
Upward Bound
Gateway Scholars
Upward Bound Math & Science
Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP)
Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP)

Basic Qualifications: Applicants must have either a Bachelor's or equivalent international degree at the time of application.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in English and Mathematics preferred, in addition to teaching experience at the k-12 level(s).

Salary is based on the UC Academic Salaries for Unit 18 Lecturers. The table can be found here

This is a limited-term appointment which falls under the purview of the agreement for the Lecturers Unit between University of California and the American Federation of Teachers. Terms and conditions of employment are subject to UC policy and appropriate collective bargaining agreement.
