Position description

One Post-Doctoral position is available within the laboratory of Dr. Kirk Jensen [https://proxy.qualtrics.com/proxy/?url=http%3A%2F%2Ffaculty.ucmerced.edu%2Fkjensen5%2F&token=eycbS%2Bt0l1Qf2a08XPrpI559yy2pk2uLQvCkHBaeaY8%3D] at the University of California Merced. The lab is seeking one highly motivated immunologist with preferred experience in host-pathogen interactions and are interested in exploring adaptive immunity to parasites. We are looking for team players that are excited about studying host-parasite interactions and have excellent communication skills. Experience in molecular biology and immunology is required; experience in parasitology, genetics, RNA- or ATAC-sequencing and computational skills is a plus.

Salary is based on the University of California Academic Salary Scales. This is a full-time, one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal based on availability of funding, ongoing operational needs and satisfactory performance.
