The Merritt Writing Program is seeking experienced teachers of composition to staff summer sections of lower and upper-division writing courses for Summer Session B. These positions are part-time and non-reoccuring. Salary is based on an annual full-time rate of $54,738.
• MA or equivalent in relevant field
• One year of teaching writing at the post-secondary level
• Demonstrated commitment to working with a diverse student population
This is a limited-term appointment which falls under the purview of the Agreement for the Lecturers Unit between the University of California and the American Federation of Teachers.
